Since we began making these authentic Peri-Peri sauces back in 2004, Lemon & Herb has been a solid, medium heat level. This was awesome and many love it but we began receiving request after request to reduce the heat level so all can enjoy it!!
In South African Peri-Peri Restaurants, Lemon & Herb is very mild and, therefore, a popular option for everyone, including kids!!
We have made the switch and now our Lemon & Herb is our mildest sauce. Never fear, the only thing that was changed was the heat! Our recipe still uses the whole lemon, many herbs and spices and is phenomenal with seafood and of course, chicken.
